Working at Affinity will involve truck loading, heavy lifting, sweat, building stages and travelling around London. All you need is a good attitude and a phone. We are looking for both experienced and inexperienced crew over 18 years of age to join us. Affinity value hardwork, dedication and a “can do” attitude when on the job.
The jobs:
– Loading and unloading trucks
– Building and dismantling stages and set
– Rigging/de-rigging sound, lighting, and AV equipment
– Installing and removing temporary flooring and barriers
– Building and breaking down of temporary seating structures
– Carrying and lifting items including furniture, set and scenery, and, AV equipment
– The constructing of temporary/semi-permanent structures, i.e. marquees etc.
Advantages Qualifications:
– Experience in manual handling (of any kind, but preferably heavy lifting)
– UK driving license and experience driving commercial vehicles
– Warehouse work, specifically for events-based businesses
– Operators license for telehandler, cherry picker, forklift (all types) or scissor lift
– Experience in the building/dismantling of events - Carpenter/chippie. - First aid qualified Health & safety qualification.
Pay: - Initial payment of £13.88 an hour - payment will be sent through fortnightly
